Matamanoa Island is a small boutique, private resort located in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji, just 10 minutes by helicopter from Nadi Airport. This island paradise caters to couples in either beachfront bures or resort rooms, for a maximum of 66 guests.
Location
This secluded resort is set in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands approximately 30 kilometres West of Nadi International Airport. The Island boasts a volcanic cone jutting out of the turquoise/aqua blue waters of this unspoilt area of the Fiji Islands. Clad with dense bush and palm trees, the brilliance of the vegetation contrasts magnificently with the white curved sandy beach and pristine coral reefs.

There are 13 Garden View ensuite hotel rooms on ground level set amongst tropical gardens with queen bed, bar with refrigerator & sink, tea/coffee making facilities, clock/radio, table and chairs and a small patio. There are also 20 spacious air conditioned beachfront bures with king size bed and sofa bed, granite top bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, clock/radio, coffee table, safe and patio with hammock and outdoor table and chairs.
Restaurants & Bars
The restaurant features an ocean view from every table, dine inside or on the deck overlooking the ocean or poolside under the stars. Table d’hote and A La Carte Menus are available with a BBQ seafood buffet on Saturday nights. There is also a bar.
Activities
Complimentary activities include glass bottom boat snorkelling, coral viewing, and handline fishing trips, mountain hikes, local craft and cooking lessons, snorkelling lessons, petanque, beach sports, tennis courts, table tennis, wind surfing, canoeing, paddle boats, row boats, windsurfing, snorkelling equipment, board games and a library. Scuba diving, island hopping, yacht cruises and big game fishing can be arranged for a charge.
