Dolphin Adventures

On this, the ultimate adventure, you will get close to dolphins to watch their antics and get fantastic photos. Conditions permitting there is the chance to swim with the dolphins in the wild. The water-jet powered catamaran is the only dolphin viewing boat in the Bay of Islands without propellers, making it safer for both dolphins and swimmers. Excursions go twice daily throughout the year except for June, July and August when there is a morning departure only.

Kauri Cliffs Golf Course

One of the most challenging golf courses in New Zealand. Recently completed, the course is 7000 yards/6398 metres long and was designed and built by David Harman of Orlando, Florida. Six holes are played alongside cliffs, which plunge to the sea and altogether there are 15 holes with views of the Pacific Ocean that span from the Cavalli Islands south to Cape Brett. It is an international standard golf course and an extreme challenge for the average golfer.

The Kauri Museum
