About Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian
Cruise Line's fleet of modern ships have been designed to provide guests
with the utmost in comfort, safety and personal enjoyment. All are new
or recently refurbished and incorporate such unique and trend-setting
features as an Internet cafe for those wishing to go online at sea. A
wide range of dining choices, award-winning Broadway shows and a friendly
international staff create a superb vantage point from which to explore
the world.
Norwegian Cruise Lines has introduced Freestyle Cruising,
a new holiday and vacation concept that transforms the traditional cruise
into a carefree, unique experience with no boundaries. For the first time,
cruise guests can dine whenever, wherever and with whomever they choose!
The excitement of travel is combined with the flexibility and relaxed
lifestyle of a fine resort. All ships within the fleet will be converted
to Freestyle Cruising throughout the year 2000 and in early 2001, all
guests of the Norwegian Cruise Lines will be enjoying the delightful benefits
of Freestyle Cruising.
The Ship - Norwegian Wind
Glass-enclosed
terraces surround you. Expansive walkways lead to broad, pool-side decks.
The dining rooms, the lounges, even the fitness center present panoramic
views of the open sea. In almost every stateroom, a picture window or
a floor-to-ceiling window puts the world at your feet. And with the addition
of a 130-foot midsection, the completely refurbished Norwegian Wind is
virtually brand new.
The Norwegian Wind feels wide open and wonderfully
uncrowded. The decks are extra-wide. Lounges, showrooms and even the casino
are grand-scaled. Staterooms are roomy, and 85% come with an ocean view.
