Mount Cook

Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is reached from either Christchurch or Queenstown. Within the National Park there are 140 peaks over 2000 metres high, including Australasia's highest mountain - Aoraki Mount Cook – at 3764 metres. There are many short walks located near the Hermitage Hotel and Aoraki Mount Cook Visitors Centre.
