THE X-TOUR

The "X-Tour" provides first class tours of 'X-Files' and other 'Hollywood-in-Vancouver' movie and TV sets and locations.
As an 'X-Tourist' you will have the chance to see and learn about X-Files productions and Vancouver history all in one comprehensive tour.
From your limousine, with your personal guide, you will see where the real scenes were shot for some of the 118 episodes filmed in Vancouver such as:

  • Where Scully was abducted from
  • Cancerman's meeting places
  • Where the lone gunman passed the secret tape to Mulder

VANCOUVER GRAND CITY TOUR - YVRSSPC1

Highlights: This tour is designed to show the highlights of Canada's most picturesque city. Our first stop is a spectacular bird's eye view from "The Lookout" observation tower - 167 meters (553 feet) high - offering a 360 degree panoramic view of the city. We travel on to historic Gastown; the sights and sounds of colourful Chinatown (North America's second largest), Canada Place Convention Centre and cruiseship pier, GM Place and BC Place Stadiums. We drive through 1000 acre Stanley Park with a photo stop at the towering totem poles,visit the rose gardens and stop at Prospect Point to view Burrard Inlet and the Lions Gate Bridge. We return by driving alongside English Bay's beaches and crossing over one of Vancouver's many bridges. Cruiseship passengers can be dropped with the luggage at either cruiseship pier.

MAJESTIC NORTH SHORE - YVRSSPC2

Highlights: This is the nature lovers' tour. We travel across the famous Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore and on to Vancouver's #1 attraction, the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Walk across the bridge - 450 feet above the canyon - and through forest trails. Watch authentic totem pole carvers at work and browse and visit the Trading Post Gift Shop. Next, is the spectacular Skyride Gondola that lifts you 4,000 feet to the top of Grouse Mountain. From here an incredible panorama of the sea, the city and vistas as far as Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

Highlights: Roundtrip transportation, B.C. Ferries tolls, Butchart Gardens admission and GST. Unlimited stop-overs permitted. Your tour begins with a scenic drive through the Fraser River Delta to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival your coach will drive on board one a BC Ferry for a spectacular cruise through the Gulf Islands' marine wonderland to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From here we drive along the Saanich Peninsula to the world renowned Butchart Gardens with their 50-acre display of magnificent colour. Enjoy 2 hours in Butchart Gardens before continuing to Victoria, BC's capital city. We'll drive through Oak Bay residential district and follow Marine Drive to see the many panoramic views. Be on the lookout for grey whales, orca whales, sealions and seals.
