THE UPPER HOT SPRINGS - YBASSBR1

Highlights: Unwind outside in a spectacular mountain setting while soaking in our therapeutic hot water, loaded with the earth's natural minerals. The newly restored heritage bath house offers a redesigned pool, change rooms, interpretive exhibits, restaurants and boutiques. For an additional fee, visit the spa for aromatherapy treatments or a massage. Period bathing suits from the late 1920s are included in all admissions. An ideal activity for soothing those tired muscles after a long day in the outdoors. Fare includes pool admission, locker rental, period swim suit rental, and round trip motorcoach transfer.

LAKE MINNEWANKA - YBASSBR2

Highlights: Devil's Gap Coach & Cruise. After a 15-minute bus trip past Mount Norquay and Cascade Mountain, you arrive at Lake Minnewanka, one of Alberta's largest bodies of water. You will cruise approximately 1 1/2 hours, travelling beneath the jagged peaks of Mount Aylmer and Mount Inglismaldie, the hoodoo clusters and into Devil's Gap. Big horn sheep, deer, bears and eagles are frequently seen at the water's edge. Return to Banff via picturesque Two Jack Lake and majestic Mount Rundle.

2002 COLUMBIA ICEFIELD (Banff to Jasper) - YBASSBR3

Highlights: The Columbia Icefield, located in Jasper National Park, presents an awesome sight when first viewed from the Icefields Parkway. It is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most interesting and accessible icefields in North America. The Icefield covers an area of nearly 325 square kilometres and reaches a depth of 250-320 metres. You will have the opportunity to take a Brewster "Snocoach" tour on the Athabasca Glacier. (Ride not included in fare). Your route is spectacular in either direction; with stops at Peyto and Bow Lakes and the Crowfoot Glacier, you will travel the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic highways in the world. Snocoach fare is additional.

DISCOVER BANFF - YBASSBR4

Highlights: This morning you tour through the town of Banff and its environs. Among the highlights are visits to the hoodoos - shaped by centuries of wind, Surprise Corner, Tunnel Mountain Drive, which overlooks the splendour of the Bow River Valley, and the Cave and Basin, where Banff's history began. A stop is made at Sulphur Mountain, where time is allowed for a gondola ride (not included). Fare includes admission to the Cave and Basin.

2002 BANFF TO JASPER SCENIC TOUR

Highlights: A one way full-day sightseeing tour which takes you along the Icefields Parkway. Visit the Columbia Icefield and take a ride onto the surface of the glacier in a special constructed snocoach (ride not included). Continue to Jasper via the Athabasca River Valley. This tour gives many opportunities to see mountain wildlife and visit many sights such as Crowfoot Glacier and Peyto Lake.

VISIT LAKE LOUISE - YBASSBR5

Highlights: Steeped in history and fabulous panoramas, your journey takes you by the Vermilion Lakes with the spectacular back-ground setting of Mount Rundle. Then continue along the #1A Highway, passing the Hole-in-the-Wall, stopping at Johnston Canyon and making a picture stop at one of the many views of Castle Mountain. At Lake Louise, where the Victoria Glacier reflects on the water, you have time (approximately a 1 hour stop) to sit back and enjoy the picture-perfect setting. Or take a walk on one of the many hiking paths near the lake. Return to Banff by 5:30 pm.

2002 HELICOPTER SIGHTSEEING

Highlights: From the town of Canmore on the border of Banff National Park, the "Royal Canadian" helicopter flight will take you on a journey that will include views of the eastern ranges of the Rocky Mountains. You will see the spectacular Olympic Nordic Centre, Sundance Range, Spray Lake, the Bow River Valley, Hidden Glacier and the Three Sisters.

2002 SULPHUR MOUNTAIN GONDOLA - YBASSBR6

Transportation: Coach & Mountain Gondola
Highlights: After a short bus trip and gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, enjoy a 360 degree panorama of a sea of mountain ranges, valleys, lakes and a bird's eye view of the Banff town-site, 770 metres below. Coaches depart from the gondola base station returning to Banff township every hour.

2002 BANFF TO HORSEBACK RIDING

Duration: 2 hour ride. Daily, 01May-31Oct02

Highlights: Escape from Banff into the Canadian Rockies for a 2-hour trail ride. Follow the Bow River and traverse the side of Sulphur Mountain. This is an excellent opportunity to capture panoramic viewsof the valley from the Bow River and Sulphour Mountain. This excursion is suitable fro novice to experienced riders. Minimum age is 4 years.

2002 MOUNTAIN LAKES AND WATERFALLS - YBASSBR7

Highlights: Drive to beautiful Johnston Canyon following a winding road along the base of the Bow Valley. Soon, reach Moraine Lake with the Valley of the Ten Peaks reflecting on its turquoise waters. Continue on to visit Lake Louise, the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies" with its backdrop of the glistening Victoria Glacier. After a lunch break at Lake Louise (not included in fare), cross the Great Divide and enter Yoho National Park. Visit the scenic Yoho Valley and such sights as Takakkaw Falls, Kicking Horse Pass, Emerald Lake and the Natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse river. Arrive back in Banff around 5:30 pm.
