Don't be surprised to see Black Bears eating salmonberries along the track or
bald eagles soaring above the rushing rivers and still glacial lakes.
Onboard commentary brings the landscape to life with
tales of the History of the West. Every length of track of every Rocky
Mountaineer Rail Tour is steeped in history. See where the last spike
was driven where Billy Miner committed the Great Train Robbery. There

This is the original Rocky Mountaineer two-day, all daylight rail journey which follows the historic train route constructed over 100 years ago through Canada 's West and the Canadian Rockies.
You will retrace the steps of early explorers travelling in comfort over bridges, through tunnels and alongside rivers and waterfalls.
The entire trip takes place during daylight hours to ensure travellers enjoy all the scenery.
Guests overnight midway in hotel accommodations in Kamloops, British Columbia.
You can choose to travel eastbound or westbound between Vancouver, and Jasper or Banff and Calgary.

Introduced in 2006, the Fraser Discovery Route, a two-day journey through the diverse beauty of Canada’s West. From Whistler, in the heart of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains this journey takes you through the canyons, lush forests and ranchlands of the BC Interior to the mountain town of Jasper.
The entire trip takes place during daylight hours to ensure travellers enjoy all the scenery.
Guests overnight midway in hotel accommodations in Quesnel, British Columbia.
You can choose to travel eastbound or westbound between Whistler and the Rockies resort town of Jasper.

Welcome aboard!
RedLeaf
Service provides you with spacious, comfortable, reclining seats. picture windows
and a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment (smoking is permitted in a designated
area). Breathe in the fresh mountain air and bring your camera along to photograph
some for the ever-changing scenery.
The on-board attendants specialise in service with a smile. They will
entertain you with commentary and anecdotes, serve your meals and provide
you with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages (a wide selection
of spirits and wines are available for a nominal charge).
A selection of cold breakfasts and luncheons are served to you at your seat, airline
style. You may have local delicacies such as BC salmon and Alberta beef, and you
will be delighted by the local beers and award winning wines.
On arrival into Kamloops, you will be transferred to your hotel (guests
will be required to pack an overnight bag for the stay, as your luggage
will be checked through to your final destination) and the evening is
free for you to explore. Alternatively, you can join the optional Two
River Junction Dinner & Musical Revue evening, which is an ideal
way to enjoy good food, fun and music, whilst experiencing Kamloops old
fashioned hospitality.

Welcome aboard!
For
that extra measure of luxury, take the GoldLeaf service. You will travel
aboard an air-conditioned, full length Dome Coach, dine in elegant surroundings
and take in the mountain breezes from a large observation platform.
As soon as you step on board you are shown to.your assigned seat where
you are served orange juice and coffee or tea. The on-board staff provide
you with the highest level of service. They are gracious, energetic, pleasant
and attentive, and in addition to serving you throughoutt the journey
they will also keep you informed of the history and sights along the way.
You will enjoy fine cuisine amidst the elegant ambience of the GoldLeaf
dining lounge. You won't be able to resist the Chef’s creations which
features local delicacies such as BC salmon, accompanied by fresh seasonal
fruits and vegetables.
As your first day aboard the GoldLeaf Dome Coach draws to a dose you will
enjoy a quiet dinner and a comfortable night’s rest at a hotel in Kamloops.
