UNDERSTANDING "FLEX-RATES"

Please read these notes CAREFULLY so that you fully understand how the rates & mileage packs work.

Your rental rates are based on the Cruise Canada “Flex” system. This system takes no account of seasons, but is based on availability of vehicles and is designed to give you the best possible rate at the time you book. The Flex Plan offers a variable daily price for each vehicle, by departure date, by location. The earlier you book the more chance you have to get the lower “flex” rate. The more vehicles that are available means that the cheaper the price will be, no matter what time of the year you book.

The price chart indicates possible daily prices you might pay for any Cruise Canada vehicle. The price is dependent on the date you make your booking and not on the date you plan to travel. Please rely on our reservations consultants to give you the best price available. As an example of how to read our price chart below, if you are quoted “Flex 23” you should look at row 2 and column 3. £49 is the basic price per day for Flex 23.

The prices shown could relate to ANY vehicle; thus when our consultant gives you a range of prices for the various vehicles available on your travel date, you will be able to instantly recognise that the cheapest may not necessarily be the smallest. Our consultant won’t just be able to help you compare vehicle sizes and prices, they may advise that it is cheaper for you to pick up on Monday rather than the previous Saturday, for instance. They will also compare cities for you and tell you, for instance, if a pick up in Calgary would be cheaper than Vancouver or a pick up in Toronto would be cheaper than Montreal; a slight change to your original routing could make a lot of difference on price. So again, please rely on our consultants to give you the best possible price available.

Basic Rates include:

• Daily rental fee
• Insurance & taxes

Basic Rates do not include:

• Mileage Packs
• Vehicle kits
• Personal kits
• Taxes (on locally purchased items)
• One-way fees
• Petrol or propane (for cooking & heating)
• Optional generator use (if provided)
• Optional insurance
• Any other items rented locally

All-Inclusive Option includes (this must be requested at the time of booking) and will be charged at £48 per vehicle per day. This includes:

• Vehicle Kits (all your pots, pans & utensils etc.)
• Personal Kits for all members of your party (bedding plates etc)
• 140 miles per day (225 kms)

General Conditions:
All rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of the Rental Contract signed at departure, full details of which are given at the time of pick-up.

Vehicle Substitutions:
Cruise Canada will do their best to provide you with the vehicle booked but on some occasions may need to upgrade you to a larger vehicle at no additional cost. Should you choose to take a smaller vehicle there will be no refund. Should Cruise Canada be forced to offer you a smaller vehicle, the difference in cost between the vehicle booked and that taken will be refunded to you - that is the limit of their liability.
