Experience hot springs, glacial ice fields - and breathtaking views of soaring peaks. The mountain park settings of Banff, Jasper and Whistler give way to the port cities of Vancouver and Victoria. Revel in the Pacific experience from awesome coastal scenery to boat cruises across blue-water straits where whales travel and bald eagles soar.

Day 1 Calgary to Banff
This morning depart Calgary for a scenic drive through the foothills of the Rockies to the resort town of Banff. Upon arrival in Banff, continue on a sightseeing tour of the region. Highlights include visits to the Hoodoos - shaped by centuries of wind, Surprise Corner with view of the Banff Springs Hotel, Tunnel Mountain Drive overlooking the splendour of Bow Valley and the Cave and Basin where Banff's history began. After the tour your Driver/Guide will take you to your hotel.

Day 2 Mountain Lakes & Waterfalls Tour
A comprehensive tour takes you to many of the attractions around Banff including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Yoho National Park, Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake and the Natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River.

Day 3 Columbia Icefield
Today travel on one of the most scenic highways in North America - the Icefield Parkway. Visit the Columbia Icefield that covers an area of nearly 325 sq km's and time allows for an included Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier. Along the way stops will be made at the Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto and Bow Lakes.

Day 4 Banff to Calgary
Depart Banff on a scheduled coach to either Calgary Airport arriving at 2.30pm or downtown at 3 pm. Please note: we can arrange a morning transfer to Calgary Airport to connect with flights at no extra cost

Often acclaimed as "The Greatest Show on Earth!" A unique event that takes palce every year in Mid July. Each Afternoon for three action packed hours, the rough and rugged skills of the world's top professional cowboys present a world a world class showcase of riding and cattle skills. The fantastic rodeo is a never-to-be-forgotten thrill of a lifetime. But perhaps its best known attraction is World Championship of Chuckwagon Racing., an amazing contest of nerves and horsepower. Calgary and its surrounding areas sells out fast during this event, and early booking is recommended

Day 1 Calgary
Arrival into Calgary for a two night stay in this Cowboy Town. Your car hire will be available from Calgary Airport upon arrival.

Day 2 - Explore Calgary
A chance to explore the city at your leisure, why not visit the Calgary Tower, which has an observation deck which gives spectacular views of City below Or optional excursions can be pre-booked as detailed below;

Wild West Experience - Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Tour (10 Hours)
Operates 01 June - 30 September. Adult £75 / Child £53
Taking the cowboy trail out of Calgary, through the Diamond Valley to discover the Wild West as well as Native history and traditions. This tour offers a remarkable view of the ecology, mythology, lifestyle and technology of the Blackfoot people.

Dinosaur Badlands Tour (9 Hours)
Operates 15 May - 15 October. Adult £68 / Child £47
Enter the Alberta Badlands at Horseshoe Canyon, and begin an exciting search for Dinosaur remains at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleaontology. Continuing across the Red Deer River via the Bleriot Ferry and highlights include exploring the Hoodoo geological formations and the historic Rosedale Suspension Bridge coal mining operation.

Day 3 Calgary to Banff
Departing early this morning you will travel through the foothills of the Rockies to the resort town of Banff. Historic Highway 1 is the most scenic route to Banff and was once the only route to the Rocky Mountains. On arrival in Banff - proceed to your hotel.

Day 4 Banff
A full day at leisure to explore the many sights of Banff and the area.
Admission to the Sulphur Mountain Gondola Ride is included, and many more tours can be arranged if desired. A visit to enchanting Lake Louise is a must-see too! Overnight in Banff

Day 5 - Banff to Jasper
Today's journey takes you north along the famous Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular highways in North America. Your destination is the Columbia Icefield, located in Jasper National Park, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle. A ride on a specially constructed "Ice Explorer snocoach" is a must (not included - pay locally). This will take you to the middle of the glacier whilst your driver/guide explains how the glaciers are formed and points out interesting geological features.

Day 6 Jasper
Today's Highlight will be a cruise on Maligne Lake (included) and the remainder of the day free to explore this area. A combination of wildlife, startling blue-green mountain lakes, soaring peaks and broad forested valleys rank Jasper as one of the World's premier national parks.

Day 7 - Jasper to Calgary
Time to leave Jasper behind and travel back south to Calgary International Airport to leave your car and return home, or continue with your onward travel arrangements.

As Canada's Festival City, Edmonton hosts over thirty annual festivals throughout the year-no matter when you visit, you'll be sure to catch something special. But even if you're not going to festivals, you'll find much to take in from Edmonton's bustling arts and culture scene. Its also home to the more theatres per capita than anywhere else in Canada, Not forgetting a shoppers paradise at the World's Largest Shopping Mall - West Edmonton Mall too. Then leaving the city behind, board VIA Rail service - The Canadian to Jasper, then onward by coach to Banff and end your independent journey in Calgary


Day 1 Arrive Edmonton
Arrive at Edmonton International Airport and make your own way to your centrally located hotel. After checking in the remainder of the day is free. Overnight in Edmonton.

Day 2 & 3 Edmonton
Two full days to explore this vibrant city. A shoppers paradise, arts & cultural centre. Edmonton really something to suit everyone.

Day 4 Edmonton to Jasper / Via Rail
Leaving the city behind, a morning departure, sit back and enjoy the scenery as you enter the Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. Arriving just after lunch, make your way to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 6 Jasper to Banff Scenic Transfer
Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never ending procession of mamouth mountains, jagged snowy peaks, and over 100 glaciers. As you leave Jasper, a stop will be made at the the breathtaking Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier, where a ride on the Ice Explorer is included. A brief stop is made at Lake Louise amongst other beautiful locations, before arriving at your next destination in Banff National Park.

Day 7 Banff
A full day to explore, sightsee or simply relax. We can arrange a number of tours from Banff, including Horseback Riding, Grizzly Bear tours, Evening Wildlife Safari, Hiking, plus many more. Please ask for details of these or any other suggestions.

Day 8 Banff to Calgary
A coach transfer is included today back to Calgary airport, in time for your departure flight, or onward travel arrangements.
