Top class service and outstanding dining...
GoldLeaf from Jasper to Quesnel
Our journey had so many scenic highlights, it’s hard to list them all. The weather was fantastic so we spent lots of time stood on outdoor viewing platform at the rear of the GoldLeaf carriage soaking in the sun, scenery and fresh mountain air.
Two things really stood out on the journey – firstly the amazing service; the staff really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Secondly, the outstanding dining in GoldLeaf. The eggs benedict for breakfast was amazing and the lunches are simply fantastic, all served in the beautiful dining room on the lower level along with fine Canada wines... what better way to enjoy the stunning scenery.

A journey beyond all expectations...
GoldLeaf from Banff to Vancouver
Our Rocky Mountaineer trip from Banff to Vancouver really was the highlight of our Canada holiday. The service onboard was amazing and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We are really pleased we decided to travel in GoldLeaf service as it really is a special experience. The stories the attendants told were fascinating, and the excitement onboard when a bear was spotted by the tracks will be something we'll never forget.

One of the six iconic rail journeys in the world, a trip aboard the Rocky Mountaineer is without doubt an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
As you cross the stunning scenery of the Canadian Rockies during daylight, passing glistening snow-capped peaks and deep blue glacier fed lakes that reflect the sky above and their mountain surrounding; cascading waterfalls and soaring forests, keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife – bears, moose and mountain sheep. And enjoy the on-board food and service as you swap stories with your fellow travellers. A journey on the Rocky Mountaineer is a perfect addition to an Alaskan cruise or tour of western Canada to make the ultimate holiday experience.
With a journey on the Rocky Mountaineer you will follow in the footsteps of Canada's first pioneers, crossing plains and following lush valleys, soaring through mountain scenery and past cascading waterfalls on each of the three iconic journeys linking the Rocky Mountains with Canada's west coast. Travel between cosmopolitan Vancouver or the mountain resort of Whistler to the heart of the Rockies in Jasper and Banff, emerald Lake Louise or the Stampede City of Calgary.
There are three iconic journeys to choose from with Rocky Mountaineer, each offering spectacular scenery and a unique experience, so you're sure to be able to fit one of them into your Western Canada holiday.
