Day 1 Arrive Melbourne
On arrival in Melbourne, you will be transferred from the Airport to your hotel by private car. After checking in at your hotel the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at your selected hotel.
Day 2 Melbourne
A morning sightseeing tour will introduce you to all the charms of Melbourne. Cross the West Gate Bridge for amazing city views. See Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens, the historic shrine of remembrance and stroll along Southbank’s Waterfront Precinct. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at your selected hotel.
Day 3 Melbourne (free day)
Today is free for you to explore or relax. Overnight at your selected hotel.
Day 4 Melbourne to Alice Springs*
You will be transferred by shuttle from your hotel to Melbourne airport to check in for your flight to Alice Springs (*airfare not included). Arrive in Alice Springs by midday and be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour, visit the historic Telegraph Station, the School of the Air and the base of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Then climb Anzac Hill for spectacular views over the township. Overnight in Alice Springs at your selected hotel.
Day 5 Alice Springs & Area Sightseeing
Departing Alice Springs this morning you will journey to the rugged but beautiful West MacDonnell National Park to explore Simpsons Gap. Continue on to the sacred site of Angkerle (Standley Chasm) where you can take the opportunity to walk into this stunning natural feature. Overnight in Alice Springs at your selected hotel.
Day 6 Alice Springs to Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Depart Alice Springs and visit a Camel Farm. Continue via the famous Stuart Highway to Ayers Rock Resort. Early in the afternoon tour to the remarkable rock formation of Kata Tjuta and enjoy a guided walk ito the waterhole of mutitjulu and also the Mala Walk. Late in the afternoon relax with a glass of wine while watching the spectacular sunset over Uluru. Overnight at Ayers Rock Resort at your selected hotel.
Day 7 Uluru & Sounds of Silence Dinner
Rise early and enjoy a tea or coffee as the sun casts its first rays on Uluru. Take a guided walk to Walpa Gorge to see plants so rare they are only found here. This evening, dine under the desert stars and savour Australian delicacies at the unique Sounds of Silence Dinner. Relax and let an astronomer guide you on a tour of the night sky.
Day 8 Ayers Rock to Cairns*
A transfer is included to Ayers rock airport for your flight (not included) to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns a shuttle transfer is included to your hotel. After checking in, the remainder of your day is at your leisure. Overnight in Cairns.
Day 9 Great Barrier Reef
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Port Douglas Marina to board your 30 metre luxury sailing catamaran, Wavedancer. Relax in the luxurious air-conditioned lounge with its fully licensed bar, or soak up the sun under the sails on the expansive deck. Your cruise is to Low Isles, an idyllic, unspoilt coral island that is a secluded tropical paradise! The wide, sandy beach and clear, calm lagoon waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of your cruise this afternoon.
Day 10 Kuranda Excursion
Experience the contrast of the regions oldest and most picturesque railway and the invisible technology of the world's most beautiful Cableway in one day. Your day begins with a transfer to Freshwater Station, board the train, sit back and enjoy the spectacular views as you journey through 15 hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. Arrive at Kuranda and enjoy some free before boarding Skyrail. Be amazed as you glide silently over the rainforest canopy on the world's most beautiful rainforest experience. A short distance from the Skyrail Terminal is your next stop, Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Enjoy a buffet lunch before you meet your indigenous guide for the afternoon to explore all the attractions of Tjapukai including the Aboriginal village and the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. After tour visit ends you will be transferred back to your Cairns hotel late this afternoon.
Day 11 Cairns to Sydney*
A shuttle transfer is included to Cairns airport for your flight to Sydney (airfare not included). On arrival at Sydney, another shuttle transfer will take you to your hotel. After checking in, the remainder of your day is at your leisure. Overnight in Sydney.
Day 12 Sydney Sightseeing
This morning, make your way to Circular Quay to join a morning cruise of Sydney Harbour. Cruise over the Main Harbour attractions such as the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison before cruising the magnificent upper reaches of Middle Harbour where palatial waterfront homes, parks, beaches and marinas show Sydney life at its best. After your cruise, there is a time for lunch (not included) before joining your afternoon tour of Sydney, Bondi and Kings Cross. Tour through the historic Rocks area and take in views of the Opera House, Hyde Park, St Mary's Cathedral, Parliament House and the Art Gallery. Stop at Mrs Macquarie's Chair for magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Visit The Gap and enjoy stunning views. Stop at the world-famous Bondi Beach and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Join the coach for your return to Sydney, travelling through Paddington and the exclusive Eastern suburbs. Return to your hotel and enjoy an evening exploring Sydney's many restaurants and bars. Overnight in Sydney.
Day 13 & 14 Sydney
Two free days to relax or exploare or perhaps you could add an excursion to the Blue Mountains or Hunter Valley (excursions not included - see page 26 & 27 for Tour Options).
Day 15 Depart Sydney
After checking out of your hotel you will be transferred by shuttle service from your hotel to Sydney airport where your tour comes to an end.
