Perfectly situated on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, amongst the 74 Whitsunday Islands, Hamilton Island offers an experience like no other: glorious weather, azure waters, brilliant beaches, awe-inspiring coral reefs, fascinating flora and fauna, fine food and wines, and activities almost too numerous to mention. The island has a choice of five hotels, ranging from three to five star and is also home to Qualia, one of the most luxurious five-star Whitsunday resorts.
Location - The largest inhabited island in the Whitsundays, Hamilton Island lies 16 kilometres from the Queensland mainland. Brisbane is 1100 kilometres to the south, while Cairns is 600 kilometres to the north.
How to Get There - The only Whitsundays Island with its own commercial airport, Hamilton Island has direct flights daily from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns. Ferries sail to Hamilton Island throughout the day from Shute Harbour on the mainland (close to Airlie Beach), ferry transfer time is 30 minutes. All flights & ferries are met by the free transfer service which will take you to your resort.

Palm Bungalows: An affordable choice for couples seeking the privacy of a garden cabin. Well-positioned between Catseye Beach and the Marina Village, each freestanding bungalow has a furnished balcony screened by plants and set in tropical gardens. The air-conditioned bungalows are serviced daily.
Reef View Hotel: A range of accommodation on Hamilton Island from a tropical garden view or splash out and enjoy the stunning views of Whitsunday Island in a Coral Sea View room. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with private balconies, internet access and ensuite bathrooms with separate bath and shower.

Resort Facilities - There are more than a dozen restaurants and cafés to choose from and a wide selection of bars and entertainment. Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef and nearby Whitehaven Beach, sail a yacht through the Whitsundays, play a round of golf on one of Australia's premier courses, snorkel the reef, or relax at a spa or by one of the many island pools and do nothing at all.
Free WiFi on Hamilton Island: Guests staying at the Reef View Hotel and Palm Bungalows receive a complimentary 400MB broadband WiFi package on arrival which can be used both in room and around the Island including areas such as the Reef View Foyer, Lounge Bar, Outrigger Centre, Island Bar, Kegal Bowling, Hamilton Island Yacht Club and at the airport lounge & baggase area. The complimentary WiFi package expires after an initial period of 4 days, however guests can request further complimentary packages once the initial time has expired.
