Perfect for the first time visitor, this tour explores three of Australia’s most popular areas. Sydney, see the sights of the city and the surrounding areas including Bondi & Blue Mountains. Ayers Rock, experience an amazing Sunrise & Sunset and enjoy an amazing Sounds of Silence Dinner and finally Cairns, gateway to the Barrier Reef & Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the sea.

Day 1 - Arrive Sydney
On arrival in Sydney, you will be transferred from the Airport to your hotel by private car & driver. Overnight at your selected hotel.

Day 2 - Sydney
Start the day onboard a luxury sailing catamaran, enjoying the sights of spectacular Sydney Harbour. Your coffee cruise includes onboard commentary, coffee, and cookies. After lunch (not included), you will join an afternoon city tour. See the major Sydney highlights before wandering along world famous Bondi Beach. Return to your Sydney hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3 - Sydney
Today is free for you to explore on your own. Overnight in Sydney.

Day 4 - Sydney to Ayers Rock*
You will be transferred from your hotel to Sydney airport for your flight to Ayers Rock (*airfare not included). On arrival a transfer is provided to your hotel. After checking in at your hotel the remainder of the day is free. Overnight at Ayres Rock Resort.

Day 5 - Ayers Rock
This morning your can choose either a Morning Sunrise and Climb Tour or Sunrise and Base Tour. Arrive at Uluru (Ayers Rock) just as the sun's first rays cast light upon the desert soil. Choose either an exhilarating climb of the rock* or join a guided walk to view ancient cave paintings and learning about the Aboriginal legends. This afternoon is your Kata Tjuta Olga Gorge Walk and Uluru Sunset Tour. On arrival at Kata Tjuta, you will take a guided walk into Olga Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. Learn of the domes' formation and of the flora and fauna of the region. Late in the day, reboard the coach and return to watch the sunset over Uluru.

*Note: Anangu, the Traditional Owners, would prefer that visitors choose not to climb Uluru. Also the climb may be closed without notice due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given in this situation. You will need to select the Climb or Base Tour option at the time of booking.

Day 6 - Ayers Rock to Cairns*
You will be transferred from your hotel to Ayers Rock airport for your flight to Cairns (*airfare not included). On arrival in Cairns, a shuttle transfer will be provided to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for individual exploration. Overnight in Cairns.

Day 7 - Cairns
Today is a full day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. Spend four hours on the reef at Michaelmas Cay - a picturesque reef cay where coral gardens abound with a myriad of marine life, surrounding a protected seabird sanctuary. Included in your cruise are morning and afternoon tea, snorkelling equipment, presentations by marine biologists and a hot/cold buffet lunch. Return to Cairns for your overnight stay.

Day 8 - Kuranda Excursion
Your tour today begins as you board the scenic rail at Freshwater Station and take a spectacular journey through tunnels and past waterfalls and gorges. Arrive in Kuranda and explore this quaint rainforest village before joining Skyrail to glide silently over the rainforest canopy. Touch down at the mountain base and take a short stroll to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park where buffet lunch is enjoyed. Afterwards you have ample time to explore all the attractions of Tjapukai - movie theatres, stage shows, craft demonstrations and of course the famous Tjapukai Dance Troupe. This afternoon rejoin your coach and return to Cairns for your final nights stay.

Day 9 - End of Tour
Your tour ends with a transfer from your hotel to Cairns Airport.

Arrive in Alice Springs by midday and be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour, visit the historic Telegraph Station, the School of the Air and the base of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Then climb Anzac Hill for spectacular views over the township. Overnight in Alice Springs at your selected hotel.

Day 5 - Alice Springs & Area sightseeing
Departing Alice Springs this morning you will journey to the rugged but beautiful West MacDonnell National Park to explore Simpsons Gap. Continue on to the sacred site of Angkerle (Standley Chasm) where you can take the opportunity to walk into this stunning natural feature. Overnight in Alice Springs at your selected hotel.

Day 6 - Alice Springs to Uluru
Depart Alice Springs and visit a Camel Farm. Continue via the famous Stuart Highway to Ayers Rock Resort. Early in the afternoon tour to the remarkable rock formation of Kata Tjuta and enjoy a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Then travel to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for sunset drinks while watching the spectacular sunset over Uluru. Overnight at Ayers Rock Resort at your selected hotel.

Day 7 - Uluru & ‘Sounds of Silence’ Dinner
Rise early and enjoy a tea or coffee as the sun casts its first rays on Uluru. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. Tour the base of Uluru and learn about the geology and flora of the region on the guided Mala Walk. Or, you can climb Uluru and stand 348 metres above the desert plain. This evening, dine under the desert stars and savour Australian delicacies at the unique ‘Sounds of Silence’ Dinner. Relax and let an astronomer guide you on a tour of the night sky.

Day 8 - Ayers Rock to Sydney*

Day 9 - Simpsons Gap & Alice Springs

Day 13 - Kangaroo Island to Melbourne*

Rise early this morning to view sunrise over Uluru. There is an opportunity to climb to the summit (optional) for spectacular views of the Red Centre and enjoy a tour of the base. Visit the informative Uluru–Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon Resort where you will stay overnight. (Meals included: Breakfast)

Day 8 - Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
This morning make the rocky climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for magnificent views of Watarrka National Park. Travel to Alice Springs this afternoon for your overnight stay. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 9 - Palm Valley
Today join a 4WD safari through the West MacDonnell Ranges into Palm Valley, an oasis of rock pools and palm trees. Return to Alice Springs for your overnight stay. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch).

Day 10 - Alice Springs to Darwin*
This morning your local Aboriginal guide will give you an introduction into their culture, laws and customs, through stories and demonstrations. This will be a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the original indigenous inhabitants and the many facets of Aboriginal life in central Australia. Visit the renowned Desert Park before transferring to Alice Springs Airport for your flight to Darwin (*airfare not included). On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Day 11 - Darwin to Kakadu
Travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Visit Nourlangie Rock and cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Overnight at Kakadu. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch).

Day 1 - Arrive Melbourne
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight explore the charms of this cosmopolitan city on your own. Overnight at your selected hotel.

Day 2 - Melbourne
This morning you will enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Melbourne. The afternoon and evening are free for you to explore at your leisure. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 3 - Melbourne & Great Ocean Road
Enjoy an excursion along Victoria’s famous Great Ocean Road with its breathtaking and unique scenery. Enter Port Campbell National Park to view the unique formations of the Twelve Apostles. Return to Melbourne for your overnight stay. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 4 - Melbourne to Alice Springs*
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Alice Springs (*airfare not included). You will be met on arrival in Alice Springs and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a town tour. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 5 - Alice Springs to Ayers Rock
Depart Alice Springs for Ayers Rock Resort. At Kata Tjuta, join a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Early in the evening, enjoy a glass of wine and watch as the fading light bathes Uluru. Overnight at Ayers Rock Resort. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 6 - Uluru (Ayres Rock)
Rise early this morning to witness Uluru at sunrise. Then join a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. Alternatively, the more adventurous can choose to climb Uluru. Tonight you may like to experience the ‘Sounds of Silence’ Dinner (cost not included). (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 7 - Ayers Rock to Cairns*
This morning you will be transferred to Ayers Rock airport for your flight to Cairns (*airfare not included). On Arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight at your selected hotel (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 8 - Great Barrier Reef Cruise
Enjoy a full day cruise to the Great Barrier Reef. Take the opportunity to swim and snorkel, or board the semi-sub viewer for an underwater adventure. Enjoy a buffet lunch of hot and cold dishes, fresh seafood, salads and tropical fruits. Return to Cairns for your overnight stay. (Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch).

Day 9 - Cairns &, Kuranda Scenic Railway
Join the Skyrail Cableway and enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding rainforest canopy. See the performance of the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers and visit the wildlife enclosure. Perhaps have your photo taken with a koala (own expense). Join the Kuranda Scenic Railway as it travels via Barron Falls to Cairns. Overnight in Cairns (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 10 - Cairns to Sydney*
Transfer to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney (*flights any time, airfare not included). On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel to check in for your 3 night stay.

Day 11 - Sydney
The morning is free to explore Sydney on your own before joining a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour. After your cruise take in the city sights including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch).

Day 12 - Sydney & Blue Mountains
This morning tour to the spectacular Blue Mountains. You can ride aboard the Skyway (own expense). Visit a wildlife park to learn about the animals native to this area. Return to Sydney for your final night stay. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 13 - Sydney - End of Tour
Enjoy a morning at leisure before being transferred to the airport where your tour ends. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 1 - Arrive Sydney

Day 2 - Sydney
This morning visit famous Bondi Beach before a Sydney Harbour luncheon cruise. Later enjoy spectacular views of the city skyline and visit Manly beach. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch)

Day 3 - Sydney & the Blue Mountains
Visit Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to koalas and kangaroos. Continue to the spectacular Blue Mountains. Enjoy the views of the Three Sisters. Pass Homebush Bay, site of the 2000 Olympic Games, on your return to Sydney. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 4 - Sydney to Alice Springs*
This morning you will be transferred to Sydney Airport for your flight to Alice Springs (*airfare not included). On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a town tour including the Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air. (Meals included: Breakfast)

Day 5 - Alice Springs to Ayers Rock
Travel to Ayers Rock today. This afternoon travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk through the domes to the Valley of the Winds Lookout. Take in a magnificent ‘outback’ sunset over Kata Tjuta with a glass of sparkling wine followed by a delicious Australian barbecue dinner under the stars. (Meals included: Breakfast, dinner).

Day 6 - Ayers Rock
Rise early to view Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunrise. There is the opportunity to climb to the summit (optional). Tour the caves at the base and hear stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime. View sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock) this evening. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 7 - Ayers Rock to Cairns*
You will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight to Cairns (*airfare not included). On arrival at Cairns Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the tropical city of Cairns. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 8 - Cairns & Great Barrier Reef
Cruise on a high- speed catamaran to the Great Barrier Reef. Go snorkelling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). Enjoy a tropical buffet lunch on-board the pontoon at Norman Reef. Return to Cairns for your overnight stay.(Meals included: Breakfast, lunch).

Day 9 - Cairns
Join the famous Kuranda train for a breathtaking journey to the village of Kuranda. Visit the famous Kuranda Markets, before returning above the canopy of the rainforest on the Skyrail Cableway. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 10 - Cairns to Auckland*
This morning you will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your flight to Auckland (*airfare not included). You will be met on arrival at Auckland Airport and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Auckland. Perhaps visit the Sky Tower for spectacular views of the harbour and Auckland’s surrounding city.

Day 11 - Auckland to Rotorua
Today travel to Waitomo Caves and enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glow-worm Grotto, featuring an underground boat ride. Continue to Rotorua. This evening enjoy a unique Maori Hangi dinner with and a concert including the spectacular Haka, traditional Maori songs are also included for your enjoyment. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Day 12 - Rotorua to Queenstown*
This morning see geysers and boiling mudpools at Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, wildlife at Rainbow Springs and a performing sheep show at the Rainbow Farm Show. Early afternoon you will be transferred to Rotorua Airport for your flight to Queenstown (*airfare not included). On arrival in Queenstown you will be transferred to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Day 13 - Milford Sound
Travel to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. to enjoy a spectacular cruise on Milford Sound, with Bowen Falls and Mitre Peak standing high above you. Return to Queenstown for your overnight stay. (Meals included: Breakfast, lunch)

Day 14 - Queenstown
A free day to enjoy the many leisure pursuits Queenstown has to offer. You may like to take a jet boat ride. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 15 - Queenstown to Franz Josef
Head north today and enjoy the rugged West Coast scenery through the Haast Pass and continue to the towns of Fox Glacier and Franz Josef. You may like to take an optional scenic flight (weather permitting). Overnight at Franz Josef. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 16 - TranzAlpine Train
Travel to Greymouth and board the famous TranzAlpine train and traverse the Southern Alps. Travel across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch, arriving early evening. Overnight in Christchurch. (Meals included: Breakfast).

Day 17 - Depart Christchurch
