Your Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1. Sydney
Welcomed on arrival for transfer to hotel. Overnight: Sydney (3 nights).
Day 2. Harbour Cruise, Sydney Sights (L)
Enjoy your luncheon cruise on Sydney's beautiful harbour taking in views
of the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Afternoon sightseeing of
the city and beaches.
Day 3. Blue Mountains, Koalas
Full-day tour to the Blue Mountains National Park. Visit the Australian
Wildlife Park. See koalas, kangaroos and a host of other Australian wildlife.
Day 4. All About Canberra, Parliament House
Drive south to Australia's national capital, Canberra. See the notable
features of Parliament House and War Memorial as you tour the city. Afternoon
transfer to airport for flight to Melbourne, departing after 5.00 p.m.
(airfare not included). On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight: Melbourne
(2 nights).
Day 5. Melbourne City Sights
Your morning sightseeing includes the Botanic Gardens, Victoria Market
and the iron-laced terraces of Carlton. The rest of the day is free to
explore Melbourne at your own pace.
Day 6. Alice Springs
Transfer for flight to Alice Springs, arriving 12.00 noon (airfare not
included). Welcomed on arrival. Enjoy your afternoon tour of Alice Springs
including visits to the historic Telegraph Station, School of the Air
and Royal Flying Doctor Service. Overnight: Alice Springs Resort.
Day 7. Camel Farm, Ayers Rock, Sunset Viewing
Cross the dry river bed of the Finke River to Noel Fullerton's Camel Farm.
Arrive Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and explore Kata Tjuta (Olgas),
36 rocky domes dominating the western skyline of the park. Early evening
stop at sunset strip and enjoy a glass of wine with our compliments while
watching the colour changes of Ayers Rock. Overnight: Ayers Rock Resort
(2 nights).
Day 8. Sunrise, Ayers Rock, Cultural Centre For those who wish, morning climb to the top of Ayers Rock (Uluru) or a walk around the base, viewing aboriginal rock paintings and caves. Learn about the geology of Uluru, the flora of the region as you continue along the Mala Walk to hear the story of the Mala (Hare Wallaby) people. Visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative for an opportunity to see aboriginal artists at work and to purchase original artifacts. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the resort's facilities or perhaps some optional activities.
Day 9. Cairns
At your leisure, transfer for flight to Cairns (airfare not included).
Welcomed on arrival, then the rest of the day is free to do as you please.
Overnight: Cairns (3 nights).
Day 10. Great Barrier Reef Cruise (L)
Today will leave an unforgettable memory as you see one of the greatest
expanses of coral colour in the world. Enjoy your full day cruise to the
Great Barrier Reef. Opportunity to swim and snorkel or ride in the glass-bottom
boat over colourful coral gardens and marine life. A delicious tropical
lunch com-plements your day.
Day 11. Skyrail, Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers, Kuranda
Train
Join the Skyrail Cableway skimming the canopy of World Heritage rainforest
in Barron Gorge National Park. Visit Rainforestation. See the Pamagirri
Aboriginal Dancers, visit the wildlife enclosure and take a ride in the
unique Army Duck as it travels deep into the rainforest, both on land
and in water. Spend some free time in Kuranda village this afternoon before
boarding the Kuranda Train winding down the mountain range, passing waterfalls
and lush rainforest.
Day 12. Cairns
Morning at leisure before transfer to Cairns Airport.

Day 1. Melbourne
Welcomed on arrival. Enjoy your free day in Melbourne to relax and discover
the delights at your own pace. Take a stroll down to Southgate on the
Yarra River, visit Melbourne Zoo or you might choose some shopping at
Melbourne Central shopping complex. Overnight: Melbourne.
Day 2. Great Ocean Road, Lorne
The Great Ocean Road sits atop as one of the world's famous coastal drives,
running 320 kilometres along the dramatic south-west coast of Victoria.
Leaving Melbourne, drive over the Westgate Bridge to Geelong and the beachside
resort of Lorne. Enjoy your overnight stay at your choice of coastal resort
towns along the Great Ocean Road.
Day 3. Great Ocean Road, Twelve Apostles, Melbourne
Today brings an unforgettable memory as you travel the Great Ocean Road,
one of the world's most scenic coastal drives. From Apollo Bay, take in
the natural beauty of this rugged coastline as it unfolds before you,
to Port Campbell National Park. See the mighty power of the ocean as you
visit the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and the remains of London Bridge.
This afternoon we drive inland through Colac. Overnight: Melbourne (2
nights).
Day 4. City Sights and Gardens
Join your morning tour of the city including Victoria Market, the iron-laced
terrace houses of Carlton and St. Paul's Cathedral. Visit beautiful Fitzroy
Gardens and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Day 5 Melbourne Morning at leisure
before transfer to Melbourne Airport.
