Day 1
On arrival at Logan International Airport collect your rental car and
drive to your hotel. Enjoy your evening at leisure. Overnight at the Holiday
Inn Peabody or similar.
Day 2 Boston
This morning you will be met by a representative and provided with a welcome
kit which includes driving instructions, vouchers, and maps for your tour.
The remainder of the day is free to explore Boston. Overnight at the Holiday
Inn Peabody or similar.
Day 3 Boston to Kennebunkport (90 miles) - Along the route north of Boston
lies almost four centuries of history, as well as some of the coasts
finest beaches and seascapes. Your destination today is the popular resort
of Kennebunkport, a haven for writers and artists. Overnight at the Nonantum
Resort or similar.
Days 4 Kennebunkport to Bar Harbour (210 miles) - Today continue along
Maines fantastically varied coastline from Brunswick to Wiscasset,
which claims to be the prettiest village in Maine. Your destination
today is fashionable Bar Harbour, gateway to Acadia National Park on Mt.
Desert Island. Overnight at the Best Western Inn or similar.
Days 5 Acadia National Park - A full day to explore one of the oldest
and most beautiful national parks in America. Overnight at the Best Western
Inn Bar Harbour or similar.
Days 6 Bar Harbour to White Mountains/New Hampshire (230 miles) - Your
drive today takes you inland towards the spectacular scenery of the White
Mountains, the rooftop of New England, a landscape dotted
with historic villages and enchanting covered bridges. Overnight in Gorham
at the Town and Country Inn or similar.
Day 7 White Mountains to Stowe (120 miles) - Today, traverse the White
and Green Mountain ranges that divide the New England states of New Hampshire
and Vermont. The route takes you through some of New Englands most
beautiful scenery. Overnight in Stowe at the Golden Eagle Resort or similar.
Days 8 Stowe to Green Mountains & the Berkshires (160 miles) - Continue
south along Route 100, where you will take in some of the most spectacular
scenery in Vermonts Green Mountains See picture-perfect villages
and some of Vermonts famous covered bridges before crossing into
Massachusetts Berkshires, known for their rural beauty and cultural
assets. Overnight in the college town of Williamstown at the The Williams
Inn or similar.
Days 9 The Berkshires to Newport/Rhode Island (180
miles) - Drive south and pass through a series of wonderful little towns,
including Lenox, summer home for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. See Hancock
Shaker Village near Pittsfield before continuing to the storied little
city of Newport Rhode Island. Overnight at the Best Western Mainstay Inn
or similar.
Day 10 Newport to Cape Cod (100 miles) - Americas most prominent
families from the Astors to the Vanderbilts have summered
in Newport. Some of their spectacular vacation homes are open for viewing.
After sightseeing, continue along the coast on your way to Cape Cod. Overnight
at the Holiday Inn Hyannis or similar.
Day 11 Cape Cod - A full day to explore magnificent Cape Cod. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Hyannis or similar.
Day 12 Cape Cod to Boston (80 miles) - Today, leave Cape Cod and drive back to Boston. Return your car at the airport before your departure flight.

Day 1 New York to Boston (240 miles)
You will be met at 8am this morning by a local representative for a complete
briefing on your tour. Collect your car and head up to New England to
the city of Boston. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Peabody or similar.
Day 2 Boston
Enjoy a full day exploring historic Boston, the cradle of American
liberty. The Revolutionary Era comes to life along the Freedom Trail walking
route. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Peabody or similar.
Day 3 Boston to Niagara Falls (480 miles)
Travel west, crossing the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountains on
the way to Corning. Stop by the Steuben Glass Factory to see how Steuben
glass is created. Continue to Niagara Falls. Overnight at the Days Inn
Lundys Lane or similar.
Day 4 Niagara Falls
Cross the border into Canada and perhaps enjoy an optional close-up look

Day 5 Niagara Falls to Amish Country & Gettysburg

Enjoy the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York en route to Pennsylvania

rural beauty. Continue to the most famous Civil War battleground, Gettysburg.

Day 6 Gettysburg to Washington, D.C. (93 miles)
In the morning, drive to Washington, D.C. and experience all the sights
of the U.S. Capital, where the broad streets of Americas seat of
government enhance the dramatic effect of Washingtons memorable

Day 7 Washington, D.C.
Full day at leisure to explore the capital and its many historical
landmarks. See the Capitol Building, the White House, Georgetown, The
Lincoln Memorial, The Jefferson Memorial, and many more. Visit the Smithsonians
complex of museums, a repository for the nations historic treasures,
and Arlington Cemetery, which houses JFKs grave site. Overnight

Day 8 Washington, D.C. to New York (240 miles)
Drive to Philadelphia, home to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall,
site of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Then continue
