Day 1 Arrive Boston
Arrive into Boston and proceed independently to your hotel, where you will meet your tour escort in the evening. Overnight at the Marriott Newton.
Day 2 Boston to Quebec City, Canada
Travel through New Hampshire and enter the state of Maine. See the charming New England coastal town of Kennebunkport. Continue across the Appalachian Mountains via the Moose River Valley before crossing at the U.S./Canadian Border and entering the province of Quebec. The evening is at leisure in Quebec City. Overnight at the Quality Suites or Similar.
Day 3 Quebec City to Montreal
Begin the day with a drive through Quebec City to view the Quebec Provincial Parliament Building, the Citadelle and city walls. Enjoy a walking tour of the walled city. You will have free time for further exploration. In the afternoon continue over the St. Lawrence River to the beautiful city of Montreal. Your tour escort will take you on a walking tour of the Vieux Port including the Notre Dame Basilica. The evening is at leisure or you may choose to join an optional night tour of Montreal. Overnight at the Best Western Europa Downtown or Best Western Ville-Marie.
Day 4 Montreal to Toronto
Depart Montreal for the capital of Canada, Ottawa. This vibrant city of parks and flowers boasts one of the most impressive parliament buildings in the world. You may choose to view the city from the Bell Tower observation balcony. In the afternoon continue along the Thousand Islands Parkway to the modern city of Toronto, located on the shores of Lake Ontario. This evening is at leisure. You may wish to visit the world's tallest free–standing structure, the CN Tower (admission not included), or shop in the well–known Eaton Center. Overnight at the Best Western Primrose or Bond Place.
Day 5 Toronto to Niagara Falls
Begin the day with a drive through Toronto passing by City Hall, the Parliament and the beautiful Toronto harbourfront. Continue along Lake Ontario and cross the Welland Canal before arriving at Niagara Falls. Stroll along Table Rock and view the thundering water of the Horseshoe Falls. Enjoy time at leisure or perhaps take an optional tour, on the renowned Maid of the Mist boat ride at the base of the Falls. Overnight at the Renaissance Fallsview or similar.
Day 6 Niagara Falls to Amish Country
This morning travel through upstate New York passing Batavia, an area of productive small farms, originally settled by Dutch immigrants. Pass Bath in the Finger Lakes region before crossing into Pennsylvania. Continue to Williamsport, home of America’s Little League Baseball. Follow the beautiful Susquehanna River to Harrisburg. Arrive in the late afternoon. The evening is at leisure. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Hotel or similar.
Day 7 Amish Country to Washington, D.C.
Travel through rural countryside to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Visit an Amish Farm & House and see their 300–year–old tradition of simple, rural living (admission included) and a tour of the famous Civil War battlefield. In the afternoon continue to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.. Overnight at the Omni Shoreham or similar.
Day 8 Washington, D.C.
Enjoy a city tour with such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, the F.B.I. Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the John F. Kennedy Memorial. Then spend the remainder of the day exploring some of the many museums comprising the Smithsonian Institute. Overnight at the Omni Shoreham or similar.
Day 9 Washington, D.C. to New York
Transfer to New York via Philadelphia where you will stop to see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The tour ends in midtown Manhattan upon arrival at our post tour hotel at approximately 18:30 hours. A tour escort will be available to assist in arranging individual transfers to the airport for the departure flight if leaving tonight.

Day 1 Arrive Boston
Transfer independently from Boston International Airport to your hotel
where you will meet your escort. Overnight at the Marriott Quincy.
Day 2 Boston to Cape Cod
Start the day exploring the history of Boston on foot, along the Freedom
Trail, one of Americas most famous footpaths, then enjoy some leisure
time on your own, perhaps browsing the shops of Quincy Market. Head south
to Plymouth, the arrival point of the Pilgrims to the New World, and see
Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower. Continue on to Cape Cod where you will
overnight at the Radisson Hyannis.
Day 3 Marthas Vineyard excursion
Enjoy a day at leisure in Cape Cod or participate in an optional visit
to Marthas Vineyard, the world famous island off the shore of New
England where generations of prominent Americans have vacationed (optional,
tour cost not included).
Day 4 Cape Cod to Connecticut River Valley
Today you will visit the smallest state of the Union, Rhode Island. Head
for the former playground of the Astors and the Vanderbilts and all the
rich and famous families that made Newport their homes in the late 19th
century. Visit one of the opulent cottages to catch a glimpse of the lavish
lifestyle of the privileged of a bygone era (admission included). Continue
on to the Connecticut River Valley where you will overnight at the Clarion
Hotel.
Day 5 Connecticut River Valley to Green Mountains
Continue to the Berkshires, one of Massachusetts most picturesque
regions and visit the Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, home to the
religious group known as the Shaking Quakers whos members
have dwindled from some 6,000 in the 19th century to less than five followers
today. Afterwards turn north and continue to discover the lovely small
villages of southern Vermont and visit the President Calvin Coolidge State
Historic Site. Before your day comes to an end, stop by the quintessential
New England village of Woodstock. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Rutland
Day 6 Green Mountains to White Mountains
Today you will see the picture postcard panoramas of New England, with
small villages complete with white church steeples and covered bridges
dotting the landscape. Travel through the dense hardwood forests of Vermont
to Burlington on Lake Champlain. Sample Ben & Jerrys finest
ice cream (included) and continue to Stowe, a classic 200-year-old mountain
resort village with Mt. Mansfield, Vermonts highest peak. Afterwards
head on for todays destination, the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Overnight at the Best Western White Mountain Resort.
Day 7 White Mountains to Portland
Visit Franconia Notch State Park, home to the Flume Gorge and ascend onboard
the aerial tram to the summit of Cannon Mountain (included). Stop by Clarks
Trading Post before you embark on the Kancamagus Highway, weaving through
the White Mountains with its unparalleled vistas. Continue your journey
through the Western Lakes region of Maine to Portland, the states
largest city. This evening, enjoy a typical regional specialty, the New
England Clambake (included). Overnight at the La Quinta Inn.
Day 8 Portland to Boston
Depart Portland and make a stop in Kennebunkport. Continue to Portsmouth,
New Hampshires oldest community, known for its thriving fishing
community and historic buildings. Wind along the coast and make a stop
at Cape Neddicks Lighthouse. Then travel to Salem, famous for its
witchcraft trials of the 17th century. Return to Boston this late afternoon
where your tour comes to an end at approximately 6pm.
