Join this small group tour into the Alaskan arctic by air and land. Depart from Fairbanks in a small plane and land across the Arctic Circle in a ceremonious fashion, where you will receive an official Arctic Circle certificate. Enjoy a walk on the arctic tundra, which will give you a sense of the vast scale of Alaska's arctic regions. Return to Fairbanks with a van tour on the rugged Dalton Highway.
Along the way, marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland's most famous waterway, the Yukon River, and learn of its storied past. View the remarkable Trans-Alaska Pipeline and visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post, situated in the rural community of Joy. Typically the morning tour begins with land tour and the afternoon tour begins with flight.
Not recommended for young children. Tour departs from East Ramp of Fairbanks Airport. No meals included.
