Located 90 miles north of Prince Rupert in the Inside Passage region, Ketchikan is the first place many visitors to Alaska arrive at, especially if they are on an Alaska cruise or travelling north on the Alaska Marine Highway ferry service. The historic centre is home to Creek Street with its boardwalk and many totem poles. It is also one of the wettest towns in Alaska, so the chances are it will rain on your visit!
